Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program 2022 Application Update

Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the France Government.

About the Scholarship

The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs launched the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program to help French higher education institutions draw top international students to their master’s and PhD programs.

Benefits of Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program

1. The Eiffel Program does not pay for tuition. The highest level of financial assistance for students is anticipated from educational institutions.

2. As recipients of French government scholarships, students accepted to public educational institutions are exempt from enrollment costs.

3. The Eiffel scholarship includes a monthly payment of €1,181 ($1,031 for maintenance and €150 for stipend). The package also includes a round-trip international ticket, health insurance, and access to cultural activities.

4. Students may also benefit from a housing allowance.

Housing Allowance

Private Housing: You may be eligible for an additional housing allowance if you live in private accommodation rather than a university house.

Simply email a copy of the housing contract and the receipt for your first rent payment, along with your name, address, and contact information, within three months after signing the housing contract.

Housing Allowance Amount: The amount of allowance, regardless of the location, is €115 per month.

Special Case of Students in Paris and the Paris Region: since October 1st, 2003, students housed by Campus France in France in a regulated residence cannot benefit from the €115 housing allowance. The rent is already partly subsidized by the Eiffel program.
