In order for students to engage, lead, and thrive in the global marketplace of ideas, commerce, and culture, the university works to equip them with the multidisciplinary, intercultural, and ethical understandings essential.
In order to pursue a doctorate in accounting with a focus in auditing, tax, management accounting, systems, or financial analytics, individuals with recent public accounting experience in audit or tax are given financial support through the Accounting Doctoral Scholars (ADS) Program.

Requirements for Fairleigh Dickinson University Scholarship
1. CPA required.
2. Possess a minimum of three years of experience in professional accounting. At the time of enrollment, a percentage of that experience was within the last three years.
3. American national or permanent resident (green card holder).
4. Has an undergraduate or graduate accounting degree.
5. 650 or above on the GMAT, or an equivalent GRE score (must be less than 5 years old).
6. Will apply to an ADS Participating University to pursue a Ph.D. in accounting with a concentration in audit, tax, management accounting, systems, or financial analytics.
7. Candidates consent to teach and conduct research in the areas of audit, tax, management accounting, systems, or financial analytics at a university in the United States that is recognized by the AACSB.
