Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Award is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship (ICSIF).

About the Award

The purpose of the Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship (ICSIF) is to facilitate the emergence and development of the next generations of young social impact pioneers and social justice leaders in Nigeria.

The fellowship program will support youths to catalyse systems and sectoral transitions in Nigeria through their social change initiatives in communities, social enterprises, nonprofit organizations, research, and influence on development policy implementation.

Aim and Benefits of Social Impact Award

A plaque and N1 million in prize money will be handed to the winner to support their efforts.

Requirements for Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Award

Candidates for the Innocent C. Chukwuma Award should fit the following requirements:

1. Designed and carried out programs and projects in the areas of social justice, community organizing, and sustainable development that were the subject of the prize.

2. Adopt a unique and innovative strategy to deal with community concerns that address the main issues rather than specific difficulties.

3. A company that has been in operation for at least five years and has a transparent corporate governance framework that values inclusion and diversity.

4. Scalability in the workplace enables it to have a stronger impact on more aspects of society.

5. Deliberate about using environmental protection techniques when carrying out their projects and programs.
