IST Internship Program in Austria 2022 Application Update

– IST Internship Program –

Institute of Science and Technology Austria is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their IST Internship Program. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About the Internship

This international paid internship is a one-year program for the students to gain work experience in their areas under professional supervisors and environment.

The summer internship program in Austria will expand students’ scientific and research expertise and allow them to learn about implementing theoretical knowledge into practical work.

IST research internship program is offered in collaboration with OeAD.

OeAD is an international organization dealing with education and scientific cooperation.

The IST aims to train capable, motivated and skilled students from all over the world. The students are required to select their research topics ahead of the application process.

The interns will have the opportunity to display their research work in a symposium.

Benefits from IST Internship Program

Interns will receive the following benefits for under:

1. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 1086.

2. Health insurance will also receive health insurance.

3. Interns will get an opportunity to gain research experience under the supervision of professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the criteria for IST internship program 2022:

1. Candidates can either be a bachelor’s or master’s current student or a bachelor’s/master’s graduate.

2. The degree must be in natural or computer sciences, mathematics or any discipline related to these.

3. Candidates must be holding an English proficiency certificate (any).

4. They must be interested in the research field applying for.

5. Candidates must have prior knowledge about the research project they want to select for the IST internship program.

7. The application process starts after the group leader finalizes the research topic.
