Linnaeus University Scholarship Program 2022 Application Update

Linnaeus University Scholarship Program is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Linnaeus University (LNU).

About the Scholarship

is a state university in the Swedish historical province Småland, with two campuses located in Växjö and Kalmar, respectively.

Linnaeus University was established in 2010 by a merger of former Växjö University and Kalmar University, and is named in honor of the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus.

Linnaeus University Scholarship program is offered for students who study master programs. Students can only apply for this scholarship before commencing the program.

Benefits of Linnaeus University Scholarships

Up to 75% reduction of the tuition fees for the rest of the program.

The scholarships is initially granted for one semester, but will automatically be extended for the duration of the study program (2 up to 4 semesters), provided that are satisfactory.

We need the following documents from you:

1. Curriculum Vitae.

2. Motivation letter.

The motivation letter should contain a maximum of 600 words. Please answer the following questions in your motivation letter:

a). Why do you want to study this program at Linnaeus University?

b). What other qualities do you have besides academic excellence?

c). What are your career aspirations?

Scholarship Timeline

1. February 8, 2022 – Application opens.

2. February 20, 2022 – Application closes at 13.00 (1.00 PM CET, Central European Time)

3. End of April – Announcement of who will be receiving a scholarship from Linnaeus University
