PEO Postgraduate Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the PEO International Peace Scholarships.
About the Scholarship
A program called the International Peace Scholarship Fund, which was started in 1949, offers scholarships to deserving women from other nations so they can pursue graduate degrees in the US and Canada.
P.E.O. members think that education is essential to promoting international harmony and understanding.
The award is not meant to pay for all living or academic expenses, but it is based on documented need.
The applicant must disclose additional financial resources at the time of application that suffice to cover her anticipated costs.
Personal and family finances, tuition waivers, labor scholarships, teaching assistantships, study grants, and other scholarships are a few examples of additional resources.
Benefits of PEO Postgraduate Scholarship
The maximum amount awarded to a student is $12,500. Lesser amounts may be awarded according to individual needs.

Requirements for PEO Postgraduate Scholarship
1. The P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund provides financial help to women from outside the United States and Canada who are seeking advanced degrees from an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada expecting students will return to their home countries to use their education to make a positive impact and foster global peace.
2. In order to qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining, be enrolled and in residence for the entire school year.
3. Doctoral students who have completed coursework and are working only on dissertations are not eligible as first-time applicants.
4. International students attending Cottey College are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
5. A student who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not eligible. Note: A student with residency for tax only is permitted.
6. Scholarships are not given for online courses, research, internships or for practical training if not combined with coursework.
