Senator Obong Bassey Albert (OBA) is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for the Senator OBA Scholarship Scheme. It is a well-funded scholarship for all students.

About Senator OBA Scholarship Scheme

Since its inception in 2016, the Senator’s Scholarship Program has aided over 140 students from diverse fields of study at the country’s institutions.

Senator Albert broadened the program to provide more chances and promote academic success, with his aim to strengthen the youth of Akwa Ibom in education.

Level / Field of Study

This local Nigerian scholarship is open to only Undergraduates who are not in their final year.

Host Nationality

Nigeria will host the OBA Undergraduate Scholarships.

Eligible Nationality

The Senator OBA undergraduate scholarship is open to only Nigerian Students from Akwa Ibom.

Eligibility for Senator OBA Undergraduate Scholarships

1. You must be enrolled at one of the PUBLIC tertiary institutions (state and federal universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing, etc)

2. Applicants who will be over the age of 25 by December 2022 will not be considered.

3. You must be enrolled in school right now, but not in your senior year.

4. Indigenes of Akwa Ibom State are eligible.

5. If you are already a recipient of another scholarship, you should not apply for this one.

How to Apply for the Senator OBA Undergraduate scholarship

Go to the application page and fill-up the form with necessary attachments (admission letter, passport photograph, and local government of origin). Please note that all applications must be made online.

NOTE: Read the instructions below carefully to correctly register your application:

1. Do not fill out this form more than ONCE as doing so will automatically disqualify you.

2. Make sure you include a valid email address and phone number you can be reached on.

3. Note that your HOD will verify your student status/School based on the information you provide.

Deadline for OBA Undergraduate Scholarships

The deadline for the application for this local Nigerian scholarship is the 7th of April 2022. After which further applications will not be considered.
