He started his career as a news anchor at India News in October 2015 and worked there till September 2017. He then worked for India News Uttar Pradesh, India News Uttarakhand, India News Haryana, and India News Rajasthan.
In November 2017, he joined Zee Media as a news anchor.
After working there for almost one year, he joined TV9 Network as a news anchor. He worked at TV9 for almost three years.
On 18 February 2022, he started working as a news anchor at Aaj Tak, India Today Group. He hosted various news segments with Aaj Tak with which he gained immense popularity.

In the same year, after receiving numerous queries, Mishra, through a YouTube video, disclosed the reason behind leaving his job at Aaj Tak. He shared that he left Aaj Tak with the desire to pursue independent journalism so that he can deliver news from the grassroots by conducting interviews and covering news spanning entertainment, sports, and politics.
