– Singapore Alumni ASEAN Scholarship –

Monash University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for the Singapore Alumni ASEAN Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

Aim of Singapore Alumni ASEAN Scholarship

Successful applicants for Singapore Alumni ASEAN Scholarship will receive the following benefits:

1. Tuition fees.

2. $14,000 AUD allowance per year.

3. On-campus accommodation. You must apply directly to Monash Residential Services (MRS) for on-campus accommodation.

4. Student visa costs.

5. Additional $3,000 AUD one-off establishment payment in the first year.

6. One return flight in the first year.

Requirements

To be eligible for Singapore Alumni ASEAN Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

1. Applicants must be a citizen of an ASEAN country.

2. Apply for a full-time Monash course offer in any single degree, at Monash University, at a campus in Australia.

3. Applicants that have not previously studied at Monash.

4. Applicants must show that they come from a low-income household.

5. Applicants must have not begun university study at any institution.

Process

1. The scholarship will be awarded based on outstanding academic achievement and financial disadvantage.

2. Students will be assessed on their personal aspiration statement (750 words) and financial support statement (500 words) and interview performance.

To keep this scholarship:

1. You must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark of 50.

2. You must maintain a full-time study load.

All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by 19 August 2022.
