Skilled Trades College Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Skilled Trades College of Canada.
About the Scholarship
Skilled Trades College of Canada and Toronto Raptors’ Rookie of the Year, Scottie Barnes, are inviting black and Indigenous students to “shoot their shot” for a chance to win one of four scholarships that will kickstart their career in the skilled trades industry.
Winners chosen by Scottie will be able to enroll in any of the Skilled Trades College’s campuses across the GTA for electrical, plumbing, data and smart home wiring, and home renovation.
Benefits of Skilled Trades College Scholarship
This year, Scottie will kick it off by choosing 4 students for a full-ride scholarship valued at $20,000.
Requirements for Scholarship
1. Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
2. Completed High School or Equivalent.
3. Age 18-30.
4. Identity as a visible minority (BlPOC).
