The location is located along Akwanga – Wamba road and the outcrops is called Agbonju hill. It is an outcrop that summarizes all the basement complexes. The components of these units are gneiss, migmatite, granite gneiss, aplite and pegmatite.
Quartz–feldspar which occurs as veinlet/veins and basaltic dyke are seen here. Others are faults, folds, joints, and foliation. The mineral compositions are felsic minerals, like quartz, feldspar and mafic minerals like biotite.
The measurements taken here are as follows
Trend of basaltic dyke
N349o – N168o
Thickness of basaltic dyke
24 – 30cm
Dip amount of the dyke – 21o
Direction of dyke
N282 – N101
The composition of the dyke are small amount of quartz and abundant of mafic minerals like biotite, plagioclase
The trend of the quartz vein
N30o – N210o, N15o – N175o, N358o – N178o
