Below are some of the available Swedish Scholarships for African Students in 2022:
1. Linköping University International Masters Scholarship
This is one of the Swedish Scholarships for African Students. And it is provided by Linköping University, Sweden.
This University offers the LiU International Scholarship. And it’s for foreign students to study for Masters Programme in 2022.
Furthermore, this scholarship is aimed at supporting international students. And it intends to do this with significant academic potential.
This will be from countries outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland).
Application Deadlines
The application deadline for Masters studies is January 2021. However, the scholarship will open in early April 2022. But this will be for a very short time.
Eligible Countries
The scholarship is open to non-EU/EEA students. However, the programme is not open for students from the following 12 countries:
➣ Bangladesh, Bolivia, and Burkina Faso.
➣ Also, is not open for students from Cambodia and Ethiopia.
➣ Furthermore, Kenya and Mali are not eligible.
➣ Also, Mozambique and Rwanda are not eligible in Uganda.
➣ Plus, Tanzania and Zambia.

Value of Scholarship
With LiU International Scholarships, tuition fees are reduced by 25, 50 or 75%.

2. BTH Scholarship Programme For Prospective Students
Also, this is one of the Swedish Scholarships for African Students. And this scholarship programme is for prospective students.
Furthermore, it is available for citizens from non-EU/EEA. And the scholarships are granted on the basis of academic excellence.
However, please note. You’re to apply for a BTH scholarship after you have applied for a BTH campus-based programme.

Moreover, this scholarship programme offers scholarships covering tuition fees in part. Thus, the level of tuition fee reduction is normally 50%.
However, no more than one scholarship from this programme can be awarded to one person.

June 8th, 2022:Notification of scholarship selection results. Also, this is the second round for prospective students.

In order to be eligible to apply for this BTH scholarship, note:
➣ You have to be registered as a student on the campus-based programme at BTH. And must have studied at least one term on this programme.
➣ Furthermore, you will be required to pay a tuition fee for the remaining part of your programme.
Important Information
The application for this scholarship will be considered only if the application fee is paid. Or if you are exempted from paying the application fee.
Also, priority is given to applicants with the BTH study programme as their first choice.

It covers 50% of the tuition fee.

3. BTH Scholarship Programme For Current Students
Also, this is one of the Swedish Scholarships for African Students. BTH awards a number of scholarships. And they correspond to a partial reduction of the tuition fee to students.
However, students must have an excellent academic performance during the first part of their studies at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to apply for this BTH scholarship, note:
➣ You have to be registered as a student on the campus-based programme at BTH. And must have studied at least one term on this programme.
➣ Furthermore, you will be required to pay a tuition fee for the remaining part of your programme.
Important Information
This scholarship is granted on the basis of academic performance at BTH. And if needed to distinguish, previous academic education results can be considered.
Also, the scholarship will not be paid directly to students. However, instead, it will reduce the tuition fee for the remaining terms of the programme.
