TESTS FOR LOTION – COSMETICS PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

·        To check impurities and sediments measure 200ml in 10% by weight lotion and dissolve. Then pour test tubes and put inside the centrifuge. Sediment = 3/6 impurities 6/6 is major impurities

·        To check tubidfy we sue the turbidio meter turbididy = 100 against 0.1

·         Refractive index – we use refratometer to check deictic the refractive index which is a lest pricey. The unit is in brix observation line refrectometer, from zero down changed to white while upwards is blue showing that the refractive index of water is zero. Refraction index of lotion is open the refractmetes and put some quality to the lotion and violent it at the other edge.
