The ANSO Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO).
About the Scholarship
Young scholars with non-Chinese citizenship have the chance to pursue postgraduate studies at universities affiliated with the (CAS), University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), or both through the ANSO Scholarship.
The program is divided into 2 categories namely;
1. The Master’s program where 200 Master’s degree students are selected.
2. PhD program where 300 PhD students are selected.
Benefits of the ANSO Scholarship
Recipients of the ANSO Scholarships for Young Talents will be eligible for the following benefits:
1. You will receive a full Tuition waiver for your selected program.
2. Awardees will receive a monthly stipend to cover your living expenses .
3. Master’s degree recipients will receive 3000 RMB/month.
4. PhD recipients will receive 6000 or 7000 RMB/month depending on whether they have passed the qualification test arranged by USTC/UCAS.
5. You will receive health insurance coverage for the duration of your stay.
6. Awardees will receive an application fee waiver.
7. You will receive a travel subsidy from your home countries to China.

Eligibility for the ANSO Scholarship
Be sure to fulfill the following conditions if you wish to apply for the scholarship:
1. Applicants must be from any country other than china and must not hold Chinese citizenship.
2. You must meet the admission criteria set for international students applying to USTC/UCAS.
3. Applicants applying for a master program must have a maximum of 30 years of age by the time of application.
4. For applicants applying for a PhD program, they must have a maximum age of 35 years at the time of application.
5. Applicants must show proof of English or Chinese language proficiency.
6. Applicants who are currently studying a master degree at any university in China may not apply for the scholarship.
7. If you are currently pursuing doctoral degrees at any university/institution in China, you may not apply for the scholarship program.
