UK Scholarships for Nigerian Students
Below are some of the UK for Nigerian students:
1. Experimental Physics: Fully Funded EPSRC PhD Scholarship at Swansea University
This is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students. However, applications should be submitted before 1 May 2021. Also, this goes with interviews taking place as soon as possible thereafter.
Additionally, note that this is a scholarship by Swansea University. Swansea is a coastal city and county. And it’s officially known as the City and County of Swansea in Wales.
➢ Scholarship Value: It covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees. And an annual stipend of £15,245for three years.
➢ Eligibility: Applicant must have a first, upper second class honour. Or a Master’s degree with Merit (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Also, for candidates whose first language is not English, we require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

2. IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship
IOE is offering Centenary Masters Scholarship for students for 2023/2024. However, it’s for those who plan to work either in their home country or another.
Also, it aims at improving the circumstances of disadvantaged, excluded, or underachieving citizens. And the targeted group is students from low or lower-middle-income countries.
Also, it’s one of the scholarships in the list of scholarships for International Students Opportunities.

➢ Scholarship Value: Scholarships will cover full tuition fees. Also, it covers 1-year accommodation at the International Students House.
➢ Eligibility: Applicant must be a citizen/resident of a low or middle-income country. Also, must have an offer to study for a full-time master’s degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education.
And must not have studied or lived in the UK before.

3. The Denys Holland Scholarship at University College London
This scholarship aims to support undergraduate students from any country. However, students must be one who without the support of the scholarship would be unable to secure the funding required to study at UCL.
Also, students must be one who can demonstrate their intention to make full use of the activities offered by UCL and the Student Union.
Again, this is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students.
➢ Scholarship Value: The scholarship is worth £9,000. And this is per year for three years. However, it’s subject to satisfactory academic progress.
➢ Eligibility: Applicant must hold a valid UCL Student Number. Also, must hold a valid UCAS Application Number (not UCAS Registration number).
And must hold an offer of admission to UCL for full-time undergraduate study commencing in September 2022.

4. Leiden University Excellence Scholarships (LexS)
This scholarship is open to outstanding Non-EU/EEA students. However, they must be enrolling in a full-time master’s degree program at Leiden University.

5. Bristol University Think Big Scholarships
Bristol University is investing £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol.
As such, note. Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2022. Also, it is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students.
➢ Scholarship Value: For undergraduates, a number of awards valued at £5,000 and £10,000 are available. While a number of awards valued at £5,000, £10,000, and £20,000 are available to Postgraduate students.
➢ Eligibility: Applicant must be classed as an overseas student. Also, must be applied to start a full-time undergraduate degree in one of the qualifying courses or one-year, full-time taught postgraduate programme.

6. University of Twente Scholarships (UTS)
These scholarships are for excellent students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries.
However, students must be applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.

➢ Scholarship Value: The scholarship value ranges from € 3,000–€ 25,000 for one year.

7. Reach Oxford Scholarships 2023/2024 for Undergraduates from Developing Countries
Also, this is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students. And it offers international students the opportunity to study at the University of Oxford.

f Oxford. However, with the exception of medicine.

8. 100 City Law School international awards for Academic Excellence in UK, 2021
Also, this is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students. And outstanding aspirants are invited to become a part of the 100 City Law School International Scholarships for Academic Excellence.
Also, the bursaries are available to domestic, EU, and international students for the academic year 2021-2022.
Furthermore, the funding program is awarded for students who are willing to be part of City Law School postgraduate and professional programs.
➢ Scholarship Value: £5,000 (BVS), £3,000 (GE LLB, LPC, LLM) and £2,000 (GDL).
➢ Eligibility: Applicants must hold academic merit (2:1 or 1st) or international equivalent. Also, must submit an academic transcript. And include certified copies of your academic records, CV, and certificates.
➢ Deadline: The application deadline for BVS, LPC, and LLM in Legal Practice courses will be considered on a rolling basis.
However, Graduate Entry LLB is April 10, 2022, & 15th May 2022. While Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and LLM program is June 19, 2022.

9. International Ambassador Scholarships at University of West London
This scholarship recognizes and provides financial support for outstanding students. Also, it assists those who wish to act as ambassadors for the University of West London.
Furthermore, it covers bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Also, it covers undergraduate or postgraduate courses at the University of West London (UWL).
➢ Scholarship Value: €5,000.
➢ Eligibility: Applicants must be an offer holder for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWL, to commence study in September 2022.

10. Gates Scholarships
Gates Cambridge Scholarships were established in October 2000. And it was by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This was following a donation of US$210m to the University of Cambridge.
The aim was to encourage outstanding postgraduate students from the world over to study at the University. Also, it is one of the UK scholarships for Nigerian students.
However, applicants must come from countries outside the UK. And must be willing to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
➢ Scholarship Value: It covers the full cost of studying at the University. And there are no restrictions on country of origin or subjects to be studied. However, this is so long as it is at a postgraduate level.
➢ Eligibility: Applicant must come from countries outside the UK. And must have outstanding intellectual ability.
