Lincoln University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their undergraduate vice chancellor’s scholarships. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About Lincoln University

Lincoln University was founded in 1854 as the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University, or HBCU.

Originally chartered as Ashmun Institute, it was re-named Lincoln University in 1866 in honour of President Abraham Lincoln.

Since the beginning, Lincoln has attracted interracial and international enrollment from the surrounding community, region, and around the world.

Today, our liberal arts and science-based degree programs serve a diverse student body, representing many cultures, countries, and career interests.

The scholarship was established to support and reward international students with the highest academic ability in further study at Lincoln University.

Aim and Benefits of Undergraduate Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships

The applicants selected by Lincoln University will be provided with a sum of NZ$5,000 in equal payments of NZ$2,500 each for two semesters towards the tuition fee of the undertaken bachelor’s program.

1. Must be new to Lincoln University International Student who is planning to enrol in a bachelor’s degree.

2. Must not have received any other scholarship, and should meet all Lincoln University entrance requirements for any Lincoln University Bachelor’s degree program.
