Institutions usually release admission lists after the conduct of an admission screening exercise.
It comes in different batches; 1st batch is (Merit List) followed by 2nd, 3rd and .
Prospective students can access their admission status on the school website and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
Candidates that took part in the UNIABUJA post UTME screening exercise should follow the procedure outlined below to know their status.
Procedure to Check UNIABUJA Admission List
➛ Go to the UNIABUJA admission portal at .
➙ Supply your JAMB registration number and password in the required columns.
➛ Finally, click on the ‘Login to Dashboard’ button to access your UNIABUJA admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted into the University of Abuja, UNIABUJA first-degree programmes are advised to:
1. Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
2. Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
3. Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
4. Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal
Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.

Alternatively, UNIABUJA prospective student can also check their admission status on the JAMB portal by following the procedure outlined below:
➛ Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal at .
➙ Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
➛ Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
➙ Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
➛ Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your UNIABUJA admission status.
University of Abuja Acceptance Fee
The acceptance fee is Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) only. Candidates should follow the procedure below to make payment.
1. Visit UNIABUJA Students Portal via .
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and password in the appropriate column.
3. Finally, click on Login to Dashboard and click on ‘click here to proceed with acceptance payment
4. In the payment type, select ‘Admission Acceptance fee’ and click continue.
5. You will be required to preview your payment and generate invoice. Then make payment in either bank or with your ATM Card (online).
