University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) Post UTME and Direct Entry admission screening application form is now available and on sale for the 2023/2024 academic session. 

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) management invites suitably qualified candidates to its 2023/2024 academic session post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

NOTE: UNIABUJA post UTME application form is NOT YET OUT. They have not reopened its portal. But here’s other useful information to prepare you for the portal’s reopening.

About the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA)

The University of Abuja is a tertiary institution in the .

UniAbuja was established in January 1, 1988 (under Decree No. 110 of 1992 as amended). It was established as a dual-mode university. It had a mandate to run conventional and distance learning programs.

The University took off from a temporary site. This was made up of three blocks of building meant for a primary school in Gwagwalada (mini – campus).

Important Facts about the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA)

Academic activities began in the University in 1990 on the mini–campus. This was boosted by the matriculation of its pioneer students.

In the same year, the University was allocated an expanse of land covering over 11,800 hectares.

This was located along the Abuja Airport road for the development of its main campus.

The University’s vision is to develop an institution of higher learning that combines academic excellence with the pursuit of the unity of Nigeria.

Its mission is to provide instructional, research, and public service programmes. All targetted at guaranteeing academic excellence.

Also, to operate a strong and virile distance learning component that ensures equal educational access to a large constituency.

Eligibility for UNIABUJA Post UTME Screening

1.) Candidates with relevant O’ Level results at NOT OVER TWO (2) SITTINGS and who scored a minimum of 180 in the concluded UTME;

2.) Must have chosen University of Abuja as their first choice. Or switched to University of Abuja as their first choice.

3.) Candidates for Direct Entry (D.E) Admission will be required to upload documents.

O’ Levels and Higher qualifications docs to the University portal.  They will also be required to attend the screening exercise.

Application Process for UNIABUJA Screening Form

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira only). This should be through Remita via the University of Abuja Post-UTME Screening Portal.

1. Visit  and click on ”.

2. Click Undergraduate link on the left pane.

3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on “Get details”.

4. Complete the basic information page. (note: Enter only valid phone number and email address and click next).

5. On the payment review page, click on “Generate RRR” and this takes you to another page

6. Click “Submit” and you will be redirected to remita payment page.

7. Enter ATM card (Mastercard or Visa) number and other details as appropriate and submit

8. Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.

9. After a successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal. Enter your Jamb registration number and Surname as password.

10. Click on “Login to dashboard”.

11. Click on “Application form” and complete your registration.

12. Ensure you print the completed registration form, payment receipt and exam schedule.

NOTE: You can always query your payment attempt in case you have been debited and the network fails while completing your payment.

Enter your JAMB registration number, click “Get details”, then place your unsuccessful payment attempt query as shown below.

Also Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to upload their O level results on the JAMB Portal.
