University College Cork PhD Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by University College Cork.

About University College Cork

University College Cork–National University of Ireland, Cork (UCC) (Irish: Coláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh) is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland.

The university is in Cork. The university was founded in 1845 as one of three Queen’s Colleges in Belfast, Cork, and Galway. It became University College, Cork, under the Irish Universities Act of 1908.

Benefits of Scholarship

The candidates selected by the University of College Cork for this PhD position will be awarded a scholarship valued at €24,000 per annum for four years, out of which fees must be paid.

Requirements for Scholarship

A minimum qualification of a 2.1 honours degree in Food Science, Fisheries Science, Food Packaging, Material Sciences, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Process or Chemical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Applications should state final grade scores in third-level degrees and proven competency in English language where relevant.
