The University of Alberta is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their University of Alberta Medical Science Scholarships for MSc or PhD Program students. It is a well-funded scholarship for all students.
The University of Alberta, a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is offering approximately 10-15 Scholarships valued at $6,500 each.
Scholarships are available as a contribution to the stipend of students registered full time in a thesis-based MSc or PhD in Medical Sciences Graduate Program (MSGP) in the Faculty of .
Eligibility
➢ Applicants must be currently registered or accepted to start as of January 2019 as a full-time thesis-based graduate student in the Medical Sciences Graduate Program (MSc or PhD) in one of the following departments in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry:
1. Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine
2. Dentistry
3. Laboratory Medicine & Pathology
4. Medical Genetics
5. Obstetrics & Gynecology
6. Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences
7. Pediatrics
8. Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging
➢ Applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s degree program
➢ Applicants must be fluent in the English Language
