University of Sydney PhD Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the University of Sydney.
About the Scholarship
This scholarship has been created to offer financial support to a PhD student who is working on research in economic evaluation and modeling to determine the effects of services and/or programs for the prevention of chronic diseases on disparities.
The NSW Health Prevention Research Support Program, NSW Health, has provided funding for this scholarship.
Benefits of University of Sydney PhD Scholarships
This scholarship is valued at $35,000 per annum and is tenable for 3 years.

Requirements for University of Sydney PhD Scholarships
1. Be a domestic student.
2. Be willing to apply for admission, have an offer of admission or being currently enrolled to study full-time in a PhD within the Sydney School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney.
3. Conduct research in economic evaluation and modelling to assess impact of chronic disease prevention services and/or programs on inequalities.
4. Have Honors or Master’s degree in either Public Health, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or related discipline.
5. Have experience in literature reviews, and evidence synthesis.
6. Have a strong Skillset in biostatistics, and oral and written communication.
