UNIZIK 14th Convocation Ceremony: The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK has made known the programme of events for the 14th convocation ceremony. Continue reading to see more details below;
This is to inform 2018/2019 Graduands of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Parents/Guardians, Alumni of the University and the Public that activities marking the 14th Convocation Ceremony of the University for the award of First and Higher Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates, presentation of Prizes and award of Honorary Degree will take place from 9th – 13th March, 2020.

The 14th convocation ceremonies of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) have been scheduled to hold as follows:
1. Monday, 9th March, 2020
a) The Vice-Chancellor’s Press Conference
Venue: Vice-Chancellor’s Office
Time: 9.30a.m – 10.30 a.m.
b) Interdenominational Service
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 11.00 a.m.
2. Tuesday, 10th March, 2020
a) Research Fair
Special Guest of Honour
Professor Suleiman .E. Bogoro
Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund)
Venue: Rufai Garba Square
Time: 9.00 a.m.
b) Presentation of Prizes to the best graduating students
Time: 2.00 pm

Dinner Party for Doctoral Graduands
Congratulations once more on your successful completion of your doctoral programme at our School. Congratulations on your forthcoming convocation.
The PG School has lined up a number of activities to celebrate you as you come for your Convocation. The following events await your enjoyment:
Wednesday 11th March 2020 @ 7p.m
DOCTORAL GRADUANDS DINNER PARTY
Venue: Selina Hall, Finotel Classique, Agu Awka, Anambra State
- Checking in starts at 6:30p.m.
- You are entitled to bring only one guest to the Dinner Party
- You are requested to pick your invite at the PG School from March 2 – 11, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 3p.m.
Thursday March 12th, 2020
- 8a.m. prompt – PRESENTATION OF SOURVENIRS TO DOCTORAL GRADUANDS
- 9:30a.m. – DOCTORAL GRADUANDS PHOTOGRAPH WITH DEAN, PG SCHOOL.
- 11am. – CONVOCATION CEREMONIES/COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES
N.B: You are to pay Certificate Fee of N2,000 via remita platform for your PhD Certificate. Please come with the originals of your bank print out for the payment of academic gown and certificate.
You have reached the zenith of the academic ladder! You are now a proud and confident Doctor of Philosophy! You cannot afford to miss this great celebration where you are the chief guest of honours!

SECURITY NOTICE
1. Luggage and bags will not be allowed into the Convocation Arena.
2. Parking lots are designated and can only be used on presentation of parking card and invitation card.
3. University Security Personnel and other Security Agencies will direct all Vehicles to the designated parking lots.
4. No form of hawking of any item will be allowed near the Convocation Arena.
