Unmet Need Scholarship Program 2022

Unmet Need Scholarship Program 2022

I find it difficult to believe many intelligent students have dropped out of college because there are no scholarships.

Since the majority of scholarships are traffic competitive these students still have to be rejected due to the fact that they could not quite fulfill the requirements for these scholarships.

Most scholarships are generally awarded if the applicants are selected on merit including CGPA participation in leading roles and contributions.

Hence most students get left behind even though they are intelligent.

Through the Unmet NEED Grant Program, the NEED Scholarship Fund will contribute money to support low-income African American students with their last-minute needs.

In order to be eligible for the Unmet NEED program, a student must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of the United States;
  • Be an African American who has lived in one of the counties listed below for a year prior to enrolling in high school or college;
  • Demonstrate unmet financial need of at least $1,000 after the financial aid award package has been determined; and
  • Have an expected family contribution.
