– Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships –

The University of York is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students.

Scholarship Description

The University of York awards the highest-achieving students with their Vice-Chancellor’s scholarships.

The scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate international students who are willing to relocate to the UK.

The scholarship ranges from £10,000 to £20,000. If you want to study in the UK, here’s your chance.

Degree Level

University of York Vice-Chancellor’s scholarships for International Students, England UK 2022-2022 is available to undertake Postgraduate, Undergraduate level programs at University of York.

Scholarship Benefits

If you are awarded this scholarship at undergraduate level, you will receive:

1. A £10,000 tuition fee discount in your first year

2. A £5,000 tuition fee discount in your second year

3. A £5,000 tuition fee discount in your third year.

Eligibility Criteria for Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships

Open to International (including EU) students only.

To be eligble for the Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship, you must:

1. Have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by Monday 21 March 2022 (round one) or Monday 20 June 2022 (round two) (you don’t need to have accepted the offer)

2. Be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee must be completed by Monday 21 March 2022 [round one] or Monday 20 June 2022 [round two])

3. Intend to study a full-time undergraduate or a postgraduate taught masters course.

You will not be eligible if:

1. You hold a 100 per cent tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

2. You are an undergraduate student and have made us your choice before Monday 21 March 2022 (round one) or Monday 20 June 2022 (round two).

Students on the following pathways are not eligible for these scholarships:

1. Hull York Medical School

2. MSc Nursing (Mental Health) and MSc Nursing (Adult)

3. MA in Public Policy: Governance and Development

4. MSc Business: Leadership, Innovation and Management

5. International Pathway College

6. Distance and online learning courses

7. Part-time courses

8. Kaplan International College London

9. GEMMA and Mundus MAPP

Application Procedure

You will be considered for this scholarship automatically when you apply online for our Be Exceptional scholarships.

You only need to make one application: you will be considered for both the Be and the Vice-Chancellor’s awards.

1. Applications open Monday 18 April 2022, 12.01am BST

2. Applications close Monday 20 June 2022, 11.59pm BST

Note

1. Scholarship is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate taught applicants.

2. Undergraduate applicants should note that the deadline to accept a course offer on UCAS is before the application deadline date for these scholarships.

3. You may therefore be required to select your firm and insurance choice before receiving the outcome of your scholarship application.
