(ARTI) Unit was established to promote research and linkages with private sector organizations for the exploitation and use of research. ARTI also assists to promote linkages between students of Yabatech and students of other institutions especially in the area of research.
Yaba College of Technology has eight schools and thirty-four academic departments with a total of seventy accredited programs, across ND, HND, and Post-HND levels. The College also offers certificate courses.
The student population which is made up of both full-time and part-time students is in the range of 15,000, while the staff strength is 2063.

Check Yabatech Admission Status
Follow the steps below to check their admission status.
- Go to the YABATECH admission checking portal at http://www.yabatech.edu.ng
- When the page loads up, enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided.
- Click on the “Check Admission Status” icon and your admission status will be displayed on your computer screen.
NB: Candidates whose names appeared on the list are advised to pay the stipulated fee within the stipulated period.
Yabatech School Tuition Fees
Yabatech school fee is paid online. The online payment is handled by . This is in line with the federal government’s single account policy. Note that all Federal schools in Nigeria use Remita to pay school fees while state and private universities can use any payment platform they desire.
Yabatech offers 32 courses in OND Full-time and offers 30 in HND Full-time. The price of the school fee depends on the course you are applying for. In some departments, the school fee price is uniform with all the courses in that department.
- After completing the program, candidates can do a direct entry to any University in Nigeria for a BSC program.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) part-time graduates can switch to full-time HND in YABATECH or any other Polytechnic in Nigeria.
- Students are allowed to work and learn at the same time. It is against the schools’ rules and regulations for full-time students to work while schooling.
- The lecture periods are convenient.
- YABATECH Part-time school fees can be paid in two installments.
Yabatech offers 22 courses in their part-time Higher National Diploma program (HND) and 26 courses in their Ordinary National Diploma program for part-time.
